UV-S is an oil - soluble, wide - band UV absorber added to sunscreens to absorb UV rays.
The product can absorb both UVB and UVA with two absorption peaks, which are located at 310nm and 340nm respectively.
Compared to other absorbants, UV-S has extremely high photoconservatism and can retain 98.4% of these doses even when 50MEDs(minimal erythema doses) are administered.
Mixture with other sunscreens such as Bionutrichem UV1789 also inhibits their photobreakdown.UV-S has been approved by the European Union and Australia.
This product does not show estrogenic effects in live in vitro experiments.
